Direct Care Staff

Direct care staff work directly with our children and/or adults with developmental disabilities. This position requires a GED or diploma from an accredited school, a valid drivers license (unless interested in specifically third shift), a criminal background check and if hired, a physical and drug test. Many of our direct care positions are considered self-scheduling in that the group of employees hired to work in a specific home will meet every two weeks and fill in the required scheduled hours. This allows flexibility for many employees that have other commitments but does not always work for everyone. We do still maintain some traditional 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift positions as well. We have both full and part-time positions and the majority of these positions include working weekends.
